As a result of over 20 years of evolvement with market, Sunway Fabrics is capable of mobilizing multiple production lines to produce PVC and PU leather. The annual production capability reaches 65 million meters of PU leather and 70 million meters of PVC leather.

 

These products vary in visual properties(including color, thickness,surface pattern, structure, texture, hand feeling,backing material), physical properties (such as abrasion resistance, color fastness, tear and tensile strength,fire retardation). We are fully committed to developing and producing eco-friendly and healthy products, minimizing and eventually eliminating environment and health hazards (Toxic phthalates, DMF,heavy metals, VOC, APEO, blue colorant, just name a few).

RoHS

EU legislation requires heavy metals such as lead, mercury, cadmium, and hexavalent chromium and flame retardants such as polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) or polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) to be substituted by safer alternatives.

A method for the determination of free and released formaldehyde in leathers. This method is based on colorimetric analysis.

TB117
The state of California revised Technical Bulletin 117 ( TB117 ). The new standards outline the changes in flammability testing saying that as of January 1, 2014,manufacturers may transition from the open flame test process adopted and mandated in 1975 to the new methods for smolder resistance of cover fabrics,barrier materials, resilient filling materials, and decking materials for use in upholstered furniture. 

UFAC-1
